Roi is a small producer that offers extra virgin olive oil of the highest quality, the result of a careful yearly selection of the best Taggiasca olives.

The olive mill is surrounded by the colours and smells of the valley Argentina, inland from Sanremo, Riviera Ligure di Ponente. In Badalucco, where we are almost in the mountains but the air still smells of the sea, one will find a magical land where the effort of decades gives fruit to its golden nectar, the Taggiasca extra virgin olive oil.

The Roi olive mill, and it’s adjoining shop, where passersby can stop to taste and buy Roi products, are located at the start of the village of Badalucco, while the olive groves are found in the ‘localita Gaaci’, between 350 and 500 meters above sea level, and in ‘localita Morga’ in Montalto Ligure.

In addition to our shop in Badalucco, the products produced by Roi are on sale in shops selling food products of the finest quality in Germany, the United States, Dubai, Japan, Switzerland, Austria and of course, Italy. Eataly is a store that specializes in the sale of typical Italian produce, and we are honoured by their preference.
Aside from oils, typical Roi products include Taggiasca olives in brine or de-stoned under olive oil, and traditional, local pesto and sauces. All Roi products are preserved in extra virgin olive oil as this highlights the characteristics and flavour of the product and guarantees perfect preservation.

We also invite you to visit our teaching farm where schools and other visitors will be invited to share in Rosella Boeri’s passion for all related to the world of the olive.

To get to the Frantoio Roi take the motorway turning for Arma di Taggia, from the ‘Autostrada dei Fiori’ A10, and follow the Statale road 548 in the direction of Badalucco- Triora. The international airport of Nice (France) is 80 km away, the international airport of Genova is 140 km away. For those arriving by train, we would suggest getting off at the station of Taggia-Arma and then taking the bus or a taxi (10km) to Badalucco.
