Daily schedule to and from Ventimiglia |
Riviera Trasporti operates the bus service to and from Apricale
to Ventimiglia. The main bus stop in Apricale is immediately
outside the Bar Tarocchi, there is normally a timetable
displayed outside the bar. There are around 4 buses per day,
depending on the season.
Buses to Apricale leave from various bus stops in on the main
road in Ventimiglia (Corso Genova).
A ticket is valid for 90 minutes in the county of Imperia.

Buy your tickets at
Ristorante Solito Posto on the main road in Apricale, or in the Tabacchi
in Ventimiglia, Camporosso, Isolabona or Bordighera. On the bus
a ticket costs 2,50 euro (pay the driver), in the shops only

Parking in Apricale

There are several car parks on the edges of Apricale. The biggest one is at the
end of the village. There are also car parks along the road from the cemetery to
Apricale. |

Filling stations
|
The nearest filling stations to Apricale are in Dolceacqua, and
Pigna. Both are open during normal Italian opening hours, in other
words morning and afternoon, but both are closed for lunch.
Dolceacqua filling station has a self-service option, which takes
banknotes and credit cards; this operates outside of normal working
hours. The Dolceacqua filling station also sells tyres, and has a
car wash. |

There are two terminals, with a free shuttle bus between them.
Rental cars available at terminal 2. There are bus services to
Nice, Monaco and Menton from both terminals. You can buy tickets
on the bus.
To reach Apricale, follow signs for the A8, direction Genes (Genova)
to Ventimiglia, see directions link below. The motorways in
Italy and France are toll roads, you can use your CreditCards (Eurocard/Mastercard/Visa),
but coins are useful.
If you don’t come by car,
then take the bus from the airport to Nice station (number 99
from T1 & T2), then a train to Ventimiglia.
Buses are infrequent from Ventimiglia to Apricale.

take your time. Again remember that motorways are toll roads in Italy.

the winter you may well run into snow as you cross the mountains.
