Apricale’s new library

The Apricale library was recently opened, just opposite the entrance to the castle.

There is a growing collection of books for loan, with a small special section reserved for books in English German and French. All are welcome to borrow books from the library, and of course to donate books to the library.

It is intended that the books give a special emphasis to local authors, and local history and traditions. A special space has been set aside for children’s and young person’s books.

Above all, it is hoped that the library becomes a meeting place (see the “Abigai a Bligal” link), which is available for meetings, events and get-togethers. For example the library recently hosted the screening of a film on Apricale.

At the moment the library is open on Saturday afternoon from 15.30 to 17.30. If you want access outside these hours, ask at the Comune.
