Settling down for a peaceful stay in the Nervia Valley, among chestnuts, eucalyptus and mimosa trees, on a hillside site with spectacular views of the surrounding Alps… sound good? Bag a break at family-run Camping Delle Rose, just over the border from France in a quiet corner of Liguria.
Run by Lorena, Mauro and their son Lorenzo, this park aims to give friendly welcomes to all, with attention and services carefully tailored to suit guests’ individual needs. The family has added a summer pool and a paddling pool for dips on hot days, a solarium for basking at before and after and a playground for the kids.
Overlooking the pools, the restaurant has regional food as its main focus, dishing up traditional dinners like pesto pasta, homegrown Taggiasche olives and rabbit ragu. Pizzas (always a topping option with the kids) are available from the woodfired oven.
Delle Rose also has a bar serving cold drinks, cappuccinos and coffees, as well as a snacks such as sandwiches and quick bites.

Glamping

GLAMPING – SAFARI TENT
The real camping feeling, yet all conveniences: that’s glamping, glamor and camping together. The fully furnished safari tents are spacious and trendy decorated. To emphasize the outdoors the tents have an extra large canopy and terrace with an outdoor kitchen, lounge set, luxury double hammock and a sturdy wooden dining table. Most tents are located on a terrace with a view over the mountains. One tent is located further down and a bit separate on the campsite grounds. This tent has its own small garden.
There are tents with a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Suitable for a maximum of five or six people.

Swimming Pools

The swimming pools are located in the heart of the campsite. A large deep pool for a refreshing dip and a small shallow pool where even the youngest children can splash around safely.
The pools are surrounded by green, overlooking the mountains. On the surrounding terrace are free to use tables and chairs, umbrellas and comfortable deckchairs.
The solarium is located behind the stage; a private garden, decorated with palmtrees where luxury sun beds are for rent.
In the evening the pool is magically lit and it’s good to relax with a drink, for example in one of the present lounge sets.
From early May till late September daily opened from 10.00 – 19.00.

Bar Flora

Our guests are welcome at “Bar Flora”!
A good cappuccino or one of our other coffee specialities, a breakfast or drink. Snacks and ice creams but also small dishes like a salad, toast or sandwich – our bar offers it all.
In and around the bar is the free WIFI zone.

Pizzeria

According to the traditional recipe pizzas are being made in our wood-fired pizza oven and topped with extra vergine Taggiasca oil of our own production. The wood with which we heat the oven comes from our own olive trees.
A choice can be made from different kind of pizza, always prepared with fresh ingredients.
In high season pizzas are daily available. Pizzas can be picked up or enjoyed on the terrace. In the low season we also offer an ever-changing menu in the restaurant.
One of our homemade desserts finishes it off.

Shop

The shop, “La Bottega di Lorena”, is our own small grocery store.
Besides fresh bread daily offer includes:
– fresh organic eggs
– cheese and meats
– fruit and vegetables
– drugstore items
– food
The shop also sells local products such as Rossese di Dolceacqua wine, Taggiasca olives and olive paté, pesto and sun dried tomatoes. And of course the extra vergine olive oil of our own production.

TRAIL “CUPEIRA”

Camping Delle Rose is connected to the medieval village of Isolabona through a walkway. The historic path leads over the mountain to the castle ruins of Isolabona. The route with stuns views over the Nervia Valley passes the remains of the Ligurian peasant life and the ruins of an old stone oven where once the characteristic semicircular Ligurian tiles where made.
The total walk takes about 45 minutes.
